Kara Kay is expanding her tribe. The Survivor: David vs. Goliath alum announced she’s pregnant in a new Instagram post, sharing a series of photos with her fiancé and leaning into the timing with a cheeky line: “First comes baby, then comes marriage.”
In the post, Kay included a black-and-white “save the date”-style image that revealed her due date as December 28, 2025, paired with the now-viral caption about doing things a little out of order. She also shared additional photos and ultrasound footage as part of the announcement.
The news comes shortly after Kay’s engagement. Reports note she got engaged in July during a proposal at a waterfall in Kauai, Hawaii, and the couple is still planning a wedding, just with a baby along for the ride.
Fans will remember Kay from Season 37, where she made a deep run and finished fourth, falling one step short of Final Tribal Council after losing the fire-making challenge.
Kay has also popped up outside the Survivor world: she had a cameo in Season 2 of HBO’s The White Lotus, a fun full-circle moment given finalist Mike White (the show’s creator) was on her season.
After the announcement, fellow Survivor alums were quick to send love in the comments, turning the post into a mini reunion of familiar names congratulating Kay on the next chapter.
