The latest reports confirmed Samsung’s plans to launch the Galaxy S22 series in the Indian market with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
The market is awaiting the launch of a new generation of phones with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor at the end of this year and the beginning of next year, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is among the releases expected to be launched next year with the new Qualcomm processor.
Samsung often offers Snapdragon models in the South Korean and US markets, but the latest reports revealed some changes that may occur in the Korean giant’s strategy next year.
According to the new report published via “Tron”, the Galaxy S22 series will be launched in the Indian market next year with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor chip, so the premium models with the Samsung Exynos 2200 processor will not be available in the Indian market.
Expectations also indicate that this new change in Samsung’s policy is due to the upgrade offered by the Korean giant in the Exynos 2200 chip based on the AMD graphics card, as it is expected to provide the highest performance in the graphics card compared to last year’s version.
It is reported that the leaks did not clarify whether this change includes the Indian market only or that Samsung is expanding models that have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor from the Galaxy S22 series in other markets.
