Rondell Sheridan, the actor and comedian best known for playing Victor Baxter on Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, has asked fans for financial support after being hospitalized with a severe case of pancreatitis.
Sheridan shared the update in a video posted from a hospital bed, explaining that his illness began while he was traveling in April and that the medical situation quickly became prolonged and expensive.

What Sheridan said happened
In his video, Sheridan said he first got sick on April 10 while on the road and was initially told it might be a gastric issue, before doctors later diagnosed him with pancreatitis. He described undergoing extensive testing and spending nine days in the hospital, then returning to the hospital again shortly after being discharged.
Why is he asking for help with costs
Entertainment Weekly and People report that Sheridan launched a GoFundMe to help cover medical bills and living expenses while he recovers and is unable to work. The fundraiser description (written by a friend, Isabel Beyoso, per coverage) notes that recovery could leave him mostly bedridden for a period of time, which adds to the financial pressure.
What pancreatitis is, in plain terms
Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas that can cause serious abdominal pain along with symptoms like nausea and vomiting, and it often requires hospital care such as IV fluids and pain management.
His career background
Sheridan has long been a familiar face in family TV, appearing across That’s So Raven, Cory in the House, and Raven’s Home, in addition to stand-up work.
