Now You See Me: Now You Don’t: What We Know So Far About the Four Horsemen’s Next Chapter

Date:

After nearly a decade away, the Now You See Me franchise returned with a third film, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, directed by Ruben Fleischer. It hit U.S. theaters on Nov. 14, 2025.

Release date and basic details

The film is rated PG-13 and runs about 1 hour and 53 minutes.

At the box office, it opened to about $21.0M domestic and has reached roughly $213.3M worldwide (as of mid-December 2025).

Who’s back and who’s new

The movie brings back the core Horsemen:

  • Jesse Eisenberg (Danny Atlas)

  • Woody Harrelson (Merritt McKinney)

  • Dave Franco (Jack Wilder)

  • Isla Fisher (Henley Reeves)

  • Morgan Freeman (Thaddeus Bradley)

It also introduces a new trio of illusionists:

  • Dominic Sessa (Bosco)

  • Justice Smith (Charlie)

  • Ariana Greenblatt (June)

And Rosamund Pike joins as the antagonist, Veronika Vanderberg.

What the story is about

The setup is a classic Now You See Me escalation: the Horsemen’s world collides with a new generation of magicians for a high-stakes diamond heist, centered on stealing the so-called “heart diamond” from Pike’s character.

Trailer and what it teased

A trailer released in spring 2025 leaned into the franchise’s signature mix: flashy illusions, misdirection, and the old-meets-new dynamic inside the team.

Where it was filmed

The production went international. Reporting highlighted that Budapest handled a large share of the shoot, with additional work tied to Antwerp and a substantial sequence in Abu Dhabi (including landmark locations).

Is there going to be a fourth movie

Yes. Now You See Me 4 was confirmed as in development, with Ruben Fleischer set to return.
