Get ready to let your frustrations out as Netflix has officially shared the first look images for Beef Season 2.
The new season of the anthology series is set to premiere on April 16th, 2026 and the first photos give a quick glimpse of what’s coming next, such as new characters and storylines.
The first season of Beef starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong and was widely loved by critics for its strong storyline and acting. The show follows two strangers whose lives get out of control after a road rage accident, leading them to hurt and interfere in each other’s personal lives.
In the photos, Oscar Isaac is shown driving a golf cart, Charles Melton is seen working out, Carey Mulligan is thinking about getting cosmetic surgery, and Cailee Spaeny appears anxious while lying in a hospital bed.
The upcoming season also features Song Kang-ho as Dr. Kim and Yuh-Jung Youn as Chairwoman Park, keeping the show’s focus on Korean talent and culture. In this season, the American series moves into the rich and exclusive world of a country club, owned by a Korean billionaire, where power games and pressure happen secretly.
Cailee Spaeny and Charles Melton play Ashley Miller and Austin Davis, a young couple working at the club who witness a shocking argument between the older couple, Josh and his wife Lindsay, played by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan. This encounter later leads them into a dangerous blackmail scheme.
Alongside them, several familiar faces are also returning for the new season, including Mikaela Hoover as Ava, William Fichtner as Troy, and BM as Woosh.

Beef Season 2 will have a total of 8 episodes (each approximately 30 minutes long). Creator Lee Sung Jin is returning as the showrunner and executive producer. A24 is producing the series.
Other executive producers are Ali Wong, Steven Yeun, Kitao Sakurai, Ethan Kuperberg, Jake Schreier, Charles Melton, Carey Mulligan, Anna Ouyang Moench, Oscar Isaac, and Cailee Spaeny.
While speaking to Vanity Fair, Lee Sung Jin explained that the team followed the same creative process while developing the story for Season 2. He said, “I think it helps to keep going back to character first, and what are the realities of being alive that we all can relate to. That’s really the only reason to do this, is to try to be a mirror in some way to help us change.”
He also told the news outlet that Season 1 focused a lot on anger and extreme situations, but Season 2 is more about love and relationships. Lee said, “[It started with] ruminating a lot on what love means to those different generations. And when you think about time passing, you realize that in your youth, you had all these expectations and promises to yourselves of never becoming like the older generation. But we’re faced with similar hurdles. Are we going to repeat the same mistakes as those that came before?”
More than 3 years after its first season premiered, Beef is finally coming back with a new story. While Season 2 was officially confirmed in October 2024, Lee Sung Jin had already teased during the 2023 awards season that the series could continue as an anthology.
