Jamie Campbell Bower—best known to many viewers for Stranger Things—has been cast as a series regular in Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, adding fresh star power as Prime Video continues expanding its Second Age saga.
Deadline and Variety reported the casting as part of a larger Season 3 build-out that also includes Eddie Marsan in a recurring role. As with most major franchise announcements, character specifics are being kept under wraps for now, with trade coverage noting that details about Bower’s role have not been publicly revealed.

Prime Video officially confirmed Season 3 is happening via Amazon MGM Studios’ press materials, stating the series was in pre-production and would begin filming in the spring (at the time of the announcement).
