As the popularity of the Fire Force has risen, Funimation still hasn’t announced a fixed date for a third season. Moreover, Season 2 of the series had premiered within a year after Season 1 ended. However, this doesn’t seem to be the situation with Season 3. At the same time, fans expect Fire Force Season 3 to bring some more sci-fi action.
The second season of the series had ended in December 2020. The sales and demand of Manga now compel Funimation, and similar to other production hoises, they have suffered a great deal of loss owing to the pandemic.
If the Manga ends at volume 30, then season 3 can be the show’s final instalment. Given the release of episodes before, we can expect the season to release in early 2022.
The series is written by Atsushi Okubo and is illustrated by the same. It is set in a parallel universe that has witnessed an extremely catastrophic event that came to be known as the great disaster.

Fire Force Season 3 Release Date
As of January 2022, the fire force series has not been renewed for season 3, and we do not indicate the same.
Manga publisher Kodansha or animation company David Productions have not yet given a hint about a new release of the fire force season 3. Nonetheless, this is a typical situation for the anime series, and there is no indication of it being cancelled yet.
The most important of these parameters is the relevance and popularity of the source material that will be used in the series.
Fire Force Season 3 Cast

Fire Force Season 3 Plot
The Fire Force anime is directly an adaptation of the manga storyline. On the one hand, the first season had portrayed the storyline from volume 1 to midway 11. On the other hand, the second season continued the story from the 11th volume to the beginning of the 20th one. Therefore, Fire Force Season may accordingly continue the same pattern. However, since anime are infamous for filler episodes, season 3 could hold the same storyline for the next episodes to come.
Nevertheless, the Manga has only 32 volumes. Therefore, the anime could end its third production season without any filler arcs for its episodes.
The Sinner season 5: What About The Storyline? Everything You Need To Know!
Fire Force Season 3 will continue the storyline after Season 2. Shinra would further complete Benimaru’s (Company 7’s Captain) training, unlocking The Press of Death. Moreover, things would turn difficult for Company 8 as they are now termed, traitors. While Season 2 had concluded with a sad note of Hague’s death scene, the third one may provide an end to the anime when Shinra received redemption for all the fallen comrades.
