Demi Lovato and Jordan “Jutes” Lutes are officially married.
The singer and actor, 32, wed the Canadian singer-songwriter, 34, in a California ceremony on May 25, 2025, with initial reporting coming via Vogue and follow-up details confirmed by People and the Associated Press.

A Santa Barbara setting—and a fashion-forward bridal look
According to People, the wedding took place in Santa Barbara at the Bellosguardo Foundation (also known as the Clark Estate), a historic ocean-view property. The outlet described it as a scenic venue perched above the coastline.
Vogue reported the couple exchanged vows in front of 135 friends and family at the Bellosguardo Estate.
Lovato wore a custom Vivienne Westwood gown—pearl white with a corset bodice and cathedral-length veil—then changed into a second Westwood look for the reception, per People and Brides.
Brides also noted the wedding was photographed by Jose Villa, who previously shot the couple’s engagement images.
How Demi and Jutes got here
Lovato and Lutes’ story began in the studio: the Associated Press reports the two met while working on Lovato’s 2022 album, and that Lutes contributed to multiple tracks on the project.
Vogue similarly places their first meeting in a writing session in January 2022, before their relationship became public.
The couple got engaged in December 2023. Vogue reported that Lutes proposed with a pear-shaped diamond ring, created with jeweler Material Good. Since then, both have spoken in interviews about taking their time and enjoying the engagement rather than rushing straight to the wedding.
For Lovato, the wedding marks a new chapter that blends her personal and creative life—one built not just around a headline romance, but around a partnership that started with collaboration and grew into something lasting.
