Tracker Season 3 Cast: Who’s Returning (and Who Isn’t) for the Justin Hartley Series

Date:

Tracker Season 3 is doing what it does best: moving fast, cutting the clutter, and keeping Colter Shaw’s world lean enough to stay unpredictable. But before the new cases kick off, the biggest question is the cast shake-up—who’s still in Colter’s circle, who’s stepping away, and which new faces are about to change the rhythm of the show.

Returning for season 3

Justin Hartley returns as Colter Shaw, the series’s lead.
Fiona Rene is also back as Reenie Greene, continuing as one of the show’s anchors.
Jensen Ackles returns as Russell Shaw, keeping the family thread in play.

Expanded role in season 3

Chris Lee returns as Randy, with showrunner Elwood Reid describing a bigger presence for him this season—particularly as the show reshapes Reenie’s work world and team dynamics.

Recurring and guest players you’ll still see

News outlets’ season 3 cast guide also lists these returning names in the mix:

  • Wendy Crewson as Mary Dove Shaw

  • Sofia Pernas as Billie

  • Jennifer Morrison as Lizzy

TVLine also notes Brent Sexton’s Keaton is expected to pop up again around Reenie’s orbit.

Not returning for season 3

Two original main cast members are out for season 3:

  • Abby McEnany (Velma)

  • Eric Graise (Bobby)

Their on-screen exits are explained in-show: Velma steps away to focus on her marriage, and Bobby moves on to a new work opportunity (shared via messages rather than a long farewell arc).

Also worth noting: Robin Weigert (Teddi) already departed as a regular after season 1, which is why the show references her more than it uses her on-screen.

New season 3 additions

Kathleen Robertson and Mark Engelhardt have been cast in recurring roles for season 3, per casting reports. Mid-Day (syndicating the casting write-up) reports Robertson plays Maxine, an attorney who approaches Reenie for a case, and Engelhardt plays Emile Lang, described as a precise figure with his own personal code.

What this means for the show

The big change is structural: fewer “home base” regulars, more focus on Reenie’s professional world, and Randy becoming a more central support piece for the ongoing team setup.
