“The English Patient” is a romantic war drama movie that came out in 1996. It was directed and written by Anthony Minghella, and the movie is based on a book written in 1992 by Michael Ondaatje. The producer of the film was Saul Zaentz.

In this film, a man named László Almásy is badly burned in a plane crash and has lost his memory. He can’t remember who he is or what happened in his past. A nurse named Hana takes care of him in an old monastery in Italy near the end of World War II. Through flashbacks, we learn about his love for a married English woman and his work mapping the deserts of Africa.

Ben Richards is wrongly accused of a crime and sent to prison. He is given a chance to earn his freedom by joining the deadly TV show. But the host, Damon Killian, secretly plans to make sure Richards never escapes or survives.

La La Land

As they pursue their dreams, they fall in love. But as their careers take off, success and ambition start to come between them, testing whether love can survive.
