Haikyuu Season 5 Release Date, Cast, plot, Spoilers and Trailer

Haikyuu is a sports comedy based Japanese anime television series that Production I.G. picks up for animation.

Haikyuu is directed by Susumu Mitsunaka and Masako Satō and is based on the manga series written by Haruichi Furudate of the same name.

The series begins when little middle schooler Shōyō Hinata becomes obsessed with volleyball after watching Karasuno High play on T.V., only to find no one else at his school interested in the sport.

Towards the end of his middle school career, he convinces his friends to join him on a team so that they can contend in a tournament. Despite their efforts, they undergo an extreme beat at the hands of Tobio Kageyama.

Hinata studies and becomes accepted at Karasuno High. He joins the volleyball team to find that his brand-new enemy Kageyama becomes his teammate.

As it turns out, the school is reforming its volleyball team and these two new players together, despite their immediate resentment at each other with a killer quick blow-down that could bring the spotlight back on their volleyball team.

The first season of Haikyuu aired on April 6, 2014, on MBS and other channels. It was completed on September 21, 2014, the second season premiered from October 4, 2015, to March 27, 2016, the third season aired from October 8 to December 10, 2016.

Haikyuu Season 5 Release Date

Haikyuu Season 5 Release Date, Cast, plot, Spoilers and Trailer

The show’s initial three seasons premiered in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Then, there was a gap between the premiere of the third and fourth season. It has been more than a year since the last episode of Season 4 premiered on Crunchyroll, and no announcement has been made about the renewal of the series for another season.

We can expect an official announcement this year since it’s already more than a year, and if the show is getting renewed, it may currently be under production.

Haikyuu Season 5 Plot

The Haikyuu series is adapted from the manga series created by Haruichi Furudate, which ended in 2020 with Chapter 402 and Volume 45. The fourth season concluded in glorious, emotional style with Chapter 292, so there is enough to cover in the fifth season.

If season five of the series occurs, we will presumably see the team members participating in the Nekoma vs Karasuno tournament at the garbage dump. There are several more tournaments on the cards and some high stakes tournaments.

Naturally, there are many beautifully-drawn volleyballs on the cards. Hinata will even have an opportunity to meet the player who began it all for him, “the Little Giant.”

Haikyuu Season 5 Trailer

There has not been any official trailer that has been released yet.

We are eagerly anticipating the release of the new season of Haikyuu this year and certainly cannot wait for a trailer to be released.
